Welcome to Brain Health Psychotherapy!

Hi, I’m Claudia Rexach, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I’m here to support you through life’s challenges. Born in Puerto Rico and shaped by my own immigrant journey, I bring both personal understanding and professional expertise to the work I do. I hold a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with specialized training in Sex Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Over the past 10+ years, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals and families facing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My passion lies in serving diverse communities, including those who feel underserved, such as immigrants, people experiencing homelessness, and individuals navigating addiction. What is telehealth therapy, and how does it work?
Telehealth therapy is counseling conducted online through secure video platforms. Sessions are similar to in-person therapy but from the comfort of your home. You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private, quiet space.

Is telehealth therapy effective?
Yes! Research shows telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

What should I expect in my first session?
The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals for therapy, and what brought you here. It’s a time for you to ask questions and decide if we’re a good fit.

How often will we meet, and how long are the sessions?
Typically, sessions last about 50 minutes. The frequency of sessions depends on your needs; many clients start with weekly sessions and adjust over time.

Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes, I have a cancellation policy. Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or avoid a late cancellation fee.
